Ciao!

So far Rome has been fabulous! We have been walking around a lot which is good because we are definitely eating a lot. On our first night we went to a great little restaurant called Bottigliera.

Bottigliera is covered in greenery and is so beautiful. Even if the food had been terrible, the atmosphere would have made up for it.

But of course everyhting was delish! Caprese-My favorite!

 As a bit of entertainment they sang to us as they grated parmesan over our pasta. Loved it! Plus she had a gorgeous voice.

After dinner we went back to the Trevi Fountain. And I am so glad we did-it is even more beautiful at night.

 While walking around later in the night, we bumped into a couple gladiators. They were hilarious and we took some great pictures. But of course afterwards they charged us 10 euros for our little photo shoot.

Successful first day in Rome! Despite the jet lag, we got walked around for hours and saw so much. I can't wait to see even more-and of course take a lot more pictures! (I think I get that from Lou)
