La Bodega Negra

Our last night in London was definitely bittersweet. We were all leaving London the next day- and not coming back for who knows how long- but we did get to celebrate our last night at La Bodega Negra. Yummm Mexican!

We were kind of confused when first walking into La Bodega Negra. You walk into a door that looks to be the entrance of a sex shop, where really it is the entrance to this underground Mexican restaurant.

Always love the dark & cozy atmosphere!

The genius behind everyone's drinks for the night.
Thanks, Mr. Bartender!

La Bodega Negra's tacos were amazing! Everyone's favorite were definitely the pork belly tacos. Delishh

Last tube ride home! Never thought I'd miss public transportation.

We will miss you, London. Now to head home for the holidays!

Feliz Navidad!

The Black Keys at O2

We only had a few more days in London, so we knew we had to go out big. And going to the O2 Arena for the Black Keys was the perfect way.

For every concert at the O2 Arena, they rename all the drinks after songs of the bands playing that night.
I decided to sip on a "Lonely Boy."

We didn't have the best seats, but we didn't mind. We each grabbed a drink & enjoyed the show.

My personal favorite of the night- Everlasting Light

Such a great concert! I'm in love. I will definitely be rooting for them to win Album of the Year at this year's Grammys!

Experimental Cocktail Club

Wednesday night we headed towards China Town to try out a fancy drink or two at the Experimental Cocktail Club. Plus, we had to cheers to Kate Middleton & her big pregnancy news! Only proper.

Here it is! Behind this dingy door is the Experimental Cocktail Club. Just passing by you would never guess that it's an upscale bar.

ECC creates new concoctions each month. But I guess they are a bit behind on updating the menu..

But I didn't mind at all! I'm a big Game of Thrones fan, so I decided to sip on a 'Winter is Coming.'

Great choice!

ECC is so dark & cozy! And the drinks are truly like nothing I had ever tried before. So good!

Until next time!

We continued our night after ECC hopping around different bars in China town. O Bar being one of them...

So sad to think that we are running out of fun nights like these in London! But I am so glad we made it to Experimental Cocktail Club. xoxo

Christmas Bucket List

This is the plan: 1. Make snow angles for 2 hours 2. Go ice skating 3. Eat an entire roll of Tollhouse cookie dough 4. Snuggle.

Sorry I just finished watching Elf & couldn't help myself.

In addition to watching Elf, this past weekend me, Julia, Kim, Nina, Adrianne, & Brittany went all around London finding anything to do that would get us into the Christmas spirit. To start off the day we headed to Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland.

A view of the Winter Wonderland last in the day. So pretty at night!

Nutella Pretzels. Best idea ever.

Nina & Kim on the swinging chairs. Looks a little cold up there!

Next stop: The Natural History Museum's Ice Rink
This is definitely the most beautiful place to go for ice skating around the holidays. Especially late in the afternoon when the Museum & surrounding trees are lit up.

We had a long day, so we all were very excited to get in bed & warm up before heading to Damarios for a delish Italian dinner.

Another Night in London

I love walking around London at this time of year! All the stores and restaurants are decked out in greenery & lights. Puts me in the best mood! Bellaria was no different!

One of Oxford Circus' witty holiday signs.

Bellaria is a cozy Italian restaurant in Oxford Circus I found on Top Table. I usually find recommendations for restaurants through friends & family, but Top Table didn't let us down.

We loved our own personal cove in the basement. We could chat & laugh as loud as we wanted!

Cheers!

Love Barrio Central!
After dinner we took a short walk over to soho for a couple drinks.

Mojito-what else would I get?

I am not totally sure what the bartender was putting into this particular cocktail, but when he lit it on fire it smelled like cinnamon! So Christmassy!
