Mahiki

The other day I realized that I only have one month left in London. I am excited to be back home for the holidays, but I still have so many places left to see & so many things I want to do. One spot left on my London bucket list is Mahiki

Mahiki is one of the most famous bars in London. Mainly because it is know to attract a lot of famous people-including the royals. Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to hang out with Prince Harry or Kate Middleton. Not to worry though. My night at Mahiki did not disappoint.

Our lovely bartenders for the night.

Then I guess the bartenders got a little lazy & let us make our own drinks. I didn't mind. It was fun being behind the bar for a bit.

Pretending we have a booth for the night...

This place was not made for tall people

Wall of Fame? or Shame?

The Treasure Chest
These babies are pretty pricey, but another group celebrating a birthday was willing to share. So nice.

So. Cool.

My Birthday/The Election

Tuesday night was a big night for America. Obama was re-elected as President... and Julia & I turned the big 2-1. To start off such a big day, we needed a big breakfast.

I have been waiting to come to The Breakfast Club for a while. I have only heard great things.

A Patriotic Greek Yogurt Parfait to start

My meal of choice: The Sausage Butty

Hey there Birthday Gal

After a late breakfast, Julia &  I headed to Piccadilly Market

Although small, Piccadilly Market has a pretty good selection of knick knacks

I picked up this gorgeous painting for my house back in Athens.
Perfect for when I am missing London once I am back in the States.

We all were very anxious to start of our night of Birthday festivities, so around 7pm we headed to Coco Momo for a glass or two of champagne. Thanks, Nina!

Julia & I love Mexican. Like can't get enough of it. So, of course, it was only proper to eat at our favorite place in London to get our fix of chips & salsa- El Camion.

BEST strawberry daiquiri

The election on the mind..

Holy Nachos

Red Velvet. My favorite.

SO many candles! Ahhhh

Lovely wall art

Tequila shots all around!

Cheers!

I thought the cheetah print shorts were appropriate.

Finally 21!

Loving up on our security

So happy

Get it, Gabby!
A Birthday always need a stripper pole...

...and a Smirnoff Ice or two.

Overall, a very successful 21st Birthday London Style. After filling my Mom in on the night, she insisted on celebrating again once I got home. I didn't argue with her. So, coming December we will see if we have a successful 21st Birthday American Style.
