The Royal Treatment

Later in the afternoon, Veronica took us to see all that is royal in Prague! The Prague Castle, the Prague Castle Cathedral, Lobkowicz Castle, and even a prince.

Trekking uphill towards Prague Castle was worth the effort. Once we got closer to the Castle- this was our view. Amazing. Definitely one of my top 5 favorite views since I have been in Europe.

We could see everything from up here!

Prague Castle

The remains of the oldest structure in ALL of Prague.
All that is left are a bunch of broken stones, but in it's prime this structure was a temple dedicated to the Virgin Mary.

Prague Castle's backyard
(I spy a Christmas tree!)

Changing of the guards

Prague Castle Cathedral
WOW

The perks of visiting in the late afternoon.
The sun reflected off of the stain glass windows & created these beautiful lights.

On the balcony of Lobcowicz Palace with Prince Lobcowicz!
William was nice enough to take us around the Palace on a private tour & fill us in on everything about his family's history. He showed us some amazing things-his families gun collection, letters from Beethoven to his great grandfather, amazing paintings of many of his past relatives, and so much more.  Unfortunately, we could not take pictures inside.

But at least we got a few outside!

On the walk back towards the hostel we passed a vineyard or two. So pretty!
