Shopping is definitely a must in Paris. Even if you are just window shopping. So for our second day in Paris we left the entire morning open to walking down Saint Germain des Prés.
Nina's pick of the day: Servane Gaxotte
Adorable wittle charms!
Love the window displays
My personal favorite! She has little cat ears!
Alex's fave
After a few hours of shopping, we took a pit stop at the famous Café de Flore.
Love me some Caprese
Wish we had gotten an outside spot. But I am pretty sure it is pretty exclusive to locals.
Yummmm
I wish I could ship this over to my dad! I'm pretty sure he would love this combo-golf & chocolate.
Window shoppers
Although we did not pick up anything at G, we did decide to pick up a few pastries from our favorite local bakery!
After a lovely cat nap, we headed over to Café Germain for dinner.
Loved the outside booths! Until it got a little chillier..
Mojitos! This has definitely been my go-to drink in Europe. I guess its pretty hard to mess up a mojito.
So modern
After dinner we walked around to look for a close by spot for drinks. And we found Le Pub. (We figured it may be similar to an English Pub.)
But once we got inside, we quickly figured out it was very different from our pubs back in London. This pub was covered in African decor while also highlighting Fashion Week on the big screen televisions. Kinda mixed vibes..
And our last stop of the night: The Princess & the Frog
Looove the name.
After last call, we stubbornly left Princess & the Frog and headed back to the hostel. But, of course, we needed our Parisian late night fix-crepes! Unfortunately, every stand we went to were fresh out, so we walked home empty handed. No worries though! We ate our weight in crepes the rest of the weekend.
